Floors

What can we say about floors?   A floor is a floor.  Right?   Well in a factory floors are made of thick concrete.   They have to be in order to withstand the weight of equipment and machinery.

You will often see different coloured lines which are meant to guide people to safe locations and keep them away from dangerous ones.   The lines will also tell forklifts where they can and cannot go.

One of the problems many factories face is not having enough floor space.   As the company grows they bring in more raw materials and components for making their finished product.   As this happens floor space decreases.    Then creative solutions are needed to solve the problem.

The last thing to say is that sometimes water or other liquids might be spilled on the floor.   Then you have to be careful and report it to your team leader or supervisor so that no one is injured.   Better yet if you are able, clean it up yourself!
