Stamping Press
A stamping press is a machine that shapes metal by exerting a large amount of force upon it. These parts can be very small or very large. The metal that is fed into these machines can be individual sheets or a continuous feed from a coil. In the automotive industry these can be body panels or even gas tanks. Rather than say the whole word often these machines will be referred to as a press. Take a look at some images and a good video to get a sense of how these impressive machines work.
