Purchaser

A purchaser is a person who buys suppliers for a company.   Sometimes they are called a buyer.   The product they purchase may be supplies like pens and paper.    They also buy raw materials and pre-assembled parts for production lines.   While the job may sound easy (just like shopping), buyers cannot order too much because of limited space and also because holding too much inventory costs money.    Ordering too little can lead to stock outs and shut down production.   This also costs a lot of money.
