Fiber Optic Wire

Also called fiber optic cables this kind of wire is primarily for transmitting information at an extremely high speed.  Instead of using electricity which is transmitted through metal, light travels through glass or plastic.   If you get your internet through copper wire or some other metal it will be very slow compared to internet delivered by fiber optic cables.
