Copper Wire

One of the most common types of wire has copper on the inside.  We call this copper wire.  However it is not always wrapped in plastic.    This is the orange-brown metal that is great for conducting electricity.   It is used frequently in homes and buildings.   When copper prices are high it is worthwhile for companies or individuals to collect their scrap copper and sell it to recycling companies.
