two important type of software

Here are some important English business words for today.   Just a note on definitions.  I am giving simplified definitions.

MRP.   Definition: Material Resource Planning.   This is software that helps plan and coordinate production and the materials needed for production.   Example: The bottle company was trying to decide which MRP software to buy.

ERP.  Definition: Enterprise Resource Planning.   This is software that does more than MRP. It includes accounting and financial planning as well.    Example: The ERP software was showing that Wanda Automotive was going to run out of screws.
