Just like any profession manufacturing has its own lingo, its own technical language. This does not mean that you need to know this before going to work in a factory. Overtime the unique vocabulary of the setting will be learned. But for a manager or supervisor who does not have English as their first language it may be important to study the business language of their chosen field.
