Parking and the Parking Lot

Whenever you go somewhere in a car, you need to find a parking spot.   This will consist of white or yellow lines on pavement which show you where to park.   A parking spot can also be called a parking space.   

Watch out for signs however, you might be parking in someone else’s spot.   It might say reserved for the QA Manager, or even mention them by name.   Also be careful when you are opening your car door that you are not too close to another vehicle.   It is very easy to scratch or dent someone else’s door.
