Manager

A manager is someone who handles a certain part of a company’s operations.   There might be a logistics manager, an accounting manager, a production manager and more.    The role of a manager will be somewhat different in various companies but they will usually have assistant managers and supervisors underneath them.   Above a manager on an org chart might be a senior manager. So now you know three different “manager” words. Assistant manager, manager and senior manager.
