Inbox, Sent, Drafts and Spam

When computers started to drop in price and began to appear in every home there were a lot of ideas that were new and difficult to understand.   So information was stored in files and folders similar to a filing cabinet in the real world.   For email you have your inbox which is a very physical thing on some desktops.    But in order to manage all those emails there are other “boxes”.   Even though the word “box” is not in the name there are other boxes which are “Sent”, “Drafts”, and “Spam”.    Sent are emails you have written and given to someone else.   Drafts are emails you have written but not sent yet.   Spam are emails your provider is trying to detect as not legitimate and possibly unsafe.
