Buildings

Where it all takes place.

Most of the time manufacturing takes place in a building.  Companies spend a lot of time and money expanding and maintaining their buildings to meet their needs.  Here are a couple of words related to buildings.   Facility and roof.

Facility.  Definition:  A building designed for a specific purpose.   Example: OIL (Oswal Industries Limited) has India’s largest single location integrated manufacturing facility of over 100,000 square metres.

Roof. Definition: The top of a building which protects the inside from weather. Example: Roof maintenance was an ongoing cost for Coca Cola bottling company.
